SKILLS READY IS TAKING WORKSHOP DEMOS ONLINE!

SKILLS READY IS TAKING WORKSHOP DEMOS ONLINE!

by Skills Ready Team / Tuesday, 07 April 2020 / Published in Educator, NEWS

The Construction Foundation’s Skills Ready team has been taking measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19 by moving to remote work protocols for our offices. But that does not mean our work has stopped.

One thing we know is that learning happens in a number of different ways and that is why we are activating a series of videos and projects that will allow us to continue educating, inspiring and informing the next generation of skilled worker.

This crisis will pass – and our mission during this time is to continue to support our community of participants, supporters and contributors.  Now, more than ever, it is imperative that we nurture and support the many individuals out there who may otherwise disengage.

Our objective is to develop a range of opportunities to learn, connect and continue to support the next generation of skilled worker as they continue to develop the attitude, skills and knowledge that will make the successful in work and in life.

Over the past few weeks we have shared the following videos, filmed and created by our talented team!

Learn Indigenous carving practices with artist Dean Heron

Build a Jenga game with René Ragetli and his family

We invite you to “stay tuned” for the weekly project ideas and learning activities that we will be sharing.  Visit our YouTube page to see our video demonstrations and much more!
